He was born in Barquisimeto in 1928. Novelist, scriptwriter and librettist. He's among the founders of the group "Sardio", and of the magazine of equal name, publication that had a great meaning in the evolution of the Venezuelan literature; he was a charter member of the group "The Roof of the Whale". In addition it has published: El parque (1946); Los habitantes (1961); among others.
